We are thinkers and doers trying to suggest a healthier and less harmful way of walking our planet. We do this through our own everyday lifestyle choices including how we build our home and business, how we move, eat, think, act and what we pour our energy into. All the big and small everyday acts are what makes up a life and decides what footprint we will leave after us. We are doing what we can for ours to be a positive one.
For over 2 decades we have worked with pairing traditional wisdom with science and nature’s magical ’intelligence’. Together we have created several farm-to-table restaurants, a nature resort, a local-only vegetable shop chain, a herbalism brand, several books on health, wild food and natural eating – and left it all behind to start our life over from scratch in Guatemala.
Our aim has always been to be bridge-builders between the worn-out old ways and the new path for humanity. We have, in all these years, worked hard and consistently to show that there is no conflict in a delicious, safe and healthy lifestyle full of simple luxuries, and the sustainable choices we all need to make to honour the planet that feeds us. On the contrary: What tastes better is better – for people and planet. It’s a win-win-win-win situation.
We focus on the very near. Real stuff! Local craftsmanship, local, clean food, a strong community, supporting local, sustainable businesses. And we bring as much of nature’s ways into our lives as we can.
With our different projects we have always been inviting our clients, guests and audience in to experience on their own body what it feels like to live the way we suggest. Our project here in Guatemala is no different – we have lots of ways for you to join us and see for yourself what we mean when we talk about ’the beautiful solution’: That the path to a more sustainable World is not only possible, but also beautiful.
